Bafakurera joins COMESA Board

  PSF Chairman Robert Bafakulera  The Private Sector Federation Chairperson Robert Bafakurera has joined the Common Market of Eastern and Southern Africa Business Council Board. Bafakurera was elected to the Board in November at a meeting held in Lusaka, Zambia. The board is chaired by Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry President, who was also elected at the same meeting and will serve between 2018 and 2020. Other board members are from Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Malawi and Seychelles. The Private Sector Federation has facilitated its members to participate in the one week Intra-African Trade Fair that kicked off on 11th December 2018 in Cairo capital Egypt. Made-in-Rwanda Expo: Exhibitors up by 80%

The Minister for Trade and Industry Soraya Hakuziyaremye (2nd right) and other officials open Made-in-Rwanda Expo 2018 at Gikondo Expo Grounds. The number of exhibitors at the annual Made-in-Rwanda Expo has increased by 86 per cent in the past four years with about 460 exhibitors showcasing locally made products this year.
