The annual event that will be held at its usual home Gikondo Expo Grounds is organized by Private Sector Federation in partnership with the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MINICOM).
This year, over 450 exhibitors both locally and internationally are expected to grace the event. The Expo Rwanda will be opening daily from 8am-10pm and close Midnight on weekends.
According to the PSF Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Stephen Ruzibiza, the RITF is a great opportunity to link local producers to their international counterparts and exploit new business opportunities.
“The Expo provides various opportunities for the business community in Rwanda which in turn has a positive impact on the economic growth, especially import substitution and economic development. First of all, it acts as a market for the local and international producers or traders to showcase or sell their products”
“When we organize the Expo we are also looking at creating a palpable atmosphere to our local producers to network and learn from each other especially in technology transfer, activating business ideas and eventually lead to innovations in investment,” PSF CEO noted
The event further is considered as an effective way of attracting foreign direct investment in the country. Visitors get acquitted with the investment opportunities available as well as the existing market intelligence for products and services.
