383 exhibitors from 18 countries in EXPO 2015

The Rwanda Private Sector Federation in conjunction with the Ministry of Trade and Industry have organised an International exhibition dubbed “Rwanda International Trade Fair (RITF)” scheduled to take place from 29thJuly to 12th August 2015.

This is an annual event that attracts exhibitors from across the globe in a bid to showcase their products and network with local businesses aimed at long-term partnerships.

2015’s Exhibition is the 18th edition since its inception. This year’s event has attracted 383 participants of which 277 are local exhibitors and 106 foreign exhibitors respectively compared to 357 participants of last year of which 104were foreigners and 253 were local. Exhibitors from 18 countries across the globe have registered.

Countries that are represented include: Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi, Botswana, Senegal, Ghana, Egypt, Syria, Turkey, India, Singapore, Philippines, Pakistan, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates and Iran and Rwanda, the host.

RITF is commonly known as a platform that provides an opportunity to exhibitors to promote their products and services, reach new customers and generate sales. It also provides business people with the opportunity to network and exchange ideas and share experiences.

The success of the previous trade fairs is mainly attributed to the commitment of exhibitors, sponsors and organizers.

The overall objective of RITF is employment creation for the local population, introduction of new quality products, technological and knowledge transfer through networking and partnerships, import substitution and general economic development.

The expected number of visitors to this year’s RITF is 270,000 compared to 266,682 of last year.The RITF will be opening from 8:00 A.M to 10:00 P.M during weekdays, and till midnight on weekends.
