Nucleus Counselors For the further implementation of the Nucleus Approach.

The Private Sector Federation (PSF) is looking for Counselors for Entrepreneur Groups (Nucleus) in cooperation with GIZ – Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit.

PSF has introduced the Nucleus Approach in Rwanda. It organizes groups of 10 to 15 business owners from a selected sector who come together on a regular base to discuss their problems and to jointly work on solutions. The groups define solutions and develop an action plan. Some of the activities are subsidized by PSF and GIZ.

Examples from other countries show that this leads to a higher competitiveness and profitability of the participating enterprises. Each group is supported by a Nucleus Counselor, who moderates and structures the discussions and helps the groups in the realization of activities. Each counselor will serve approximately 10 groups in parallel. The counselor will not work as a consultant to the group, but identify and mobilize the knowledge, potentials and resources found within the group.

PSF intends to increase the number of Nucleus groups and recruit new counselors who will start soon.
